Full Challenge Rules for 2026:
 
  • Use clues to find 3 scavenger hunt flags (black, blue & green) placed at 6 locations, worth 15, 10, and 5 points respectively.  Only take one.  They'll be marked, so we'll know if you take more!!  Clues will be handed out during breakfast in front of STARS Basecamp starting at 7:30am
  • Must complete at least 90% of a run in order to score it.
  • There is no limit to the number of times you can score a run.
  • The trees on either side of a run count for that run.
  • All lifts listed are worth 10 points and can only be scored ONCE, but obviously ridden multiple times.
  • Each team must remain together throughout the day, skiing/riding with their VIP Athlete and scorekeeper.
  • If someone on your team has an injury or gear malfunction that prevents them from continuing, the rest of the team can continue.
  • Staff lanes may be used at each lift, but please be courteous and politely ask if you may alternate in on the chair.
  • Must follow the SlopeWise Code of Conduct,  Any team found violating the Code will be disqualified.
  • All participants MUST wear a helmet while skiing/riding.
  • Must turn in scorecard at finish line NO LATER than 1:30 pm to be eligible for scoring - at 1:31 and beyond team will be disqualified.
  • Lunch served from Noon-2:00pm at The Range. You may eat lunch and then head back out for more points, OR wait until the final finish line crossing by1:30pm and then go grab lunch. 
  • In the event of a tie, the team that has fundraised the most money will win the competition - it is a fundraiser after all!
  • Prizes awarded for Best Team Costume, Highest Fundraising Team and Team with the most points!!  Award Ceremony will take place at The Range starting at 2:00pm

Mini-Challenge Rules for 2026:

  • You do not have to complete the full run for it to count - as long as you ski a portion of the run you can score it.
